Hi, I'm Julee Brooks. I live in Valencia with my husband who is a stay-at-home dad to our two boys. My older son is a sophomore at Hart High School. He's in the show choir program and his current favorite class is AP Physics. My younger son is a fifth grader at Valencia Valley where he's an aspiring drummer and comic book artist. So, I will be a parent in the Hart District until 2033!

In my professional life, I've worked with children, youth, and students for more than 25 years having led youth focused programs including roles at the Cayton Children's Museum, Los Angeles Ronald McDonald and in my current role at CEO of Woodcraft Rangers, which provides before-school, after-school, summer, and outdoor education programs to more than 25,000 students each year throughout Southern CA. This gives me insight into the needs of youth, students and schools that will inform my priorities as a board member as well as business experience so that I can help guide solid decision-making for the district.

I love raising my family in Santa Clarita and serving our community. Currently, I serve on the SCV Education Board supporting all school districts throughout SCV am the Fundraising Chair for Hart High School Show Choir. Personally, I enjoy walking the paseos, hot yoga and hanging out with family and friends.
